When Ragnarok never came and Humanity began it's expansion into space, Asgard was unsettled.

In particular the Valkyries, guider of souls, had lost their purpose. With no final battle, what good were the Einherjar they have spent centuries gathering? What good were all these centuries in battle only to rot in the halls of Valhalla drowning in liquor?

Some stayed by Odin's side, believing that one day Ragnarok will come to pass. But some like Eira Auðshalla decided that perhaps glory was not to be found in some far off time uknowable.

Glory was to be found in the chaos and battlefields of the stars.

And so she joins humanity in their quest of glory, riches and honor. That she may fulfill her purpose as a proud warrior of the Gods
